Philosophy of Art

Full page A4 linoprint… so far it is the biggest one featured here and perhaps most colorful (quick edit: it was most colorful before I made Rhino Prime print and posted it here). Whole two colors (I mean actual paint colors), if to account for paper – whole three colors.

There was some still-life composition that looked pretty interesting (this reminded me about some other scenes I have in my reference collection). Most difficult part was getting mix of Mars Brown Deep and Black paints in just the right proportions for this old dusty/rusty look on column. Guess I managed to do this.

Funny thing is… I don’t have scanner big enough for this format and I want to move on to working with even bigger, larger, more spacious formats (found where to buy A1 lino).
