Bells. Winter
Pretty self descriptive name, isn’t it?
Made in the time of snow (well, any snow is good, but I start liking “green grass, 8-10C” winter and I’d like it to be anything but “snow, rain, sun, snow, rain. Repeat as needed two-five times a day.” Climate is weird nowadays…), iced roads and people wearing coats lined with fur. In other words it was winter of 2018.
Why bells? Because it is a belltower (wonder if any company has it as a name… (quick not-really-edit edit: apparently, yes. There are tens of businesses using Belltower, Bell Tower and similar names…), presumably the highest one in Ukraine as of now.
Notable fact from this work’s “biography”: it was one of 4-5 prints in catalogue of an all-Ukrainian exhibition “Мальовнича Україна”. If to count oil, watercolor, acrylic paintings, drawings of various types… the ratio of printed works to all the rest would be, approximately, 5:90 or around that, so you can imagine it is quite an achievement.
